Award-winning SWeet! Recorder Consort CIC provides a professional training on recorder, at vastly reduced rates, to children aged 8 to 18 in the London Borough of Lambeth. Through affiliation with two local schools, one in Lambeth and one in Southwark, we specifically target children who find access to instrumental tuition difficult or otherwise impossible, and enable them to participate fully in our range of programmes. With the generous support of our wonderful funders and private donors, we organise skills lessons, ensemble classes, performances at community venues, concerts, competitions, examinations, workshops and trips to hear professionals perform.
