ERTA exists to provide services to its members. They include:
- News
and information We will attempt to cover any news items,
and current research on our website. Please email
us if you are aware of anything you would like to see covered.
- Annual Conference Conferences
are held annually and include guest speakers, workshops
and talks on a wide variety of subjects. See news
page for details of the next conference.
- Recorder
Education Journal This
is edited by Dr David
Lascoski and is free to ERTA members. It presents
articles on many approaches to playing and
teaching the recorder, contributed by John Tyson,
David Gordon, Peter Seibers, David Lasocki and
many others.
- Newsletter
ERTA publishes a biannual newsletter, free to its members
and available for download in the members area.
- Member Discounts
ERTA Members receive discounts from participating organisations.
- Teacher
List ERTA maintains and publicises a list of its member
teachers by area. The list includes details of the type of teaching
offered, and location. Inclusion is free to members.
ERTA has...
- Inclusive Membership Membership includes students, teachers
(specialist and non-specialist alike), professionals and
corporate members. Corporate members are organisations that support the aims and goals of ERTA
and are in touch with the UK's leading recorder
teachers and players.
- Europe-wide
coverage ERTA now has
five branches throughout
Europe.
ERTA
is run by a dedicated, hard-working
committee and welcomes constructive suggestions so that
